I can give you an idea of what it looks like.

  • Phone consultation

    We’ll talk on the phone for 30 minutes or so to get an idea of whether or not we would be a good fit. I’ll ask a little about you, and you’ll be able to ask me questions. There’s no obligtaion.

  • Assessment

    I will do a thorough assessment of your sleep to get an idea where the problem might be coming from. This will help us to pinpoint treatment. Sometimes I’ll make referrals to other professionals.

  • Start sleep diary

    We’ll coordinate with your other health providers as needed. I’ll have you begin keeping a detailed sleep diary, and we’ll base your care on the information we collect. You’re going to understand so much more about sleep, and your sleep in particular, by the time we’re done.

  • individualized treatment

    Through our collaboration, we’ll determine which techniques are best suited for your needs. These may include assistive technology, a behavioral “prescription” (you’ll be doing new things!), and a reworking of the habits and thoughts around sleep that may be keeping you stuck. We’ll keep a close eye on your progress.

  • Follow-Up

    You’re good to go! Or patients sometimes find it helpful to schedule follow-up support. Often we can trouble-shoot together if you run into any bumps in the road. I’ll gladly support you going forward on your path to becoming a sound sleeper!
